Baptism

Baptism

“Go, therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,” Matt. 28:19

New Life

We practice baptism as prescribed by the scripture. Baptism is commanded by God, exemplified by Jesus, and unifies the Body of Christ (the church). The word “baptism” means “to dip” or “submerge”. It is showing the whole world that you have given your life to Jesus! It is an outward expression of what happened in you when you got saved. The old you is dead and you were made brand new!
Since baptism is commanded by God, it is one of the first acts of obedience in the life of someone who has surrendered to Christ and a first step in spiritual growth.
