I was saved at 8 years old and baptized right here at Pennyroyal Baptist that same year. I was explained God’s grace at an early age and walked closely with him for a long time. My family was here every Sunday for years, then I became a teenager. I drifted from God and backslid, and for some reason thought I was undeserving of the very grace that saved me. When I turned 18 I fell in love with a wonderful man, got married and started a family. My husband and I were both believers of Christ so decided to get our family back in church. I began to familiarize myself with that very special grace again and it was amazing. I realized you can never wander so far that you can’t get back, He was always with me, waiting. I have since have found out I have many health problems and I am disabled but God gives me strength and courage to keep doing His work and serving others. I have always loved people and cooking and I am so blessed to use what I love to do to bring God glory!

-And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.-
